This rating is ONLY for pre-reformulation Eternity, as made by Calvin Klein Cosmetics (not Unilever, or- – most as of late – Coty Prestige). By one means or another, this flawless carnation-lily-climbed aroma has lost a considerable measure in interpretation throughout the years. The present cycle figures out how to be both not so much focused but rather more brutal, lathery, and “screechy.” Unbearable, metallic, and off-base.
I wore Eternity back in the mid ’90s as one of my two “grown-up” scents, alongside Estee Lauder Knowing. (I was first out of school and understood that patchouli oil no more fit my picture :)) I revered it then, and, once I understood I expected to discover vintage bottles on eBay, I venerate it now.
You certainly need to apply Eternity with limitation; maybe a couple squirts are bounty for throughout the day silage. I tend to shower at mid-section level or beneath, else this aroma can prompt cerebral pains. Yet, when connected accurately, it is one of my exceptionally most loved exemplary floral. Cool, green, watery freesia and lily are clear at first sniff, trailed by a fiery carnation heart and an insight of tea rose. The sandalwood and sage at the base keep this cutting edge, not at all stuffy or Victorian. The general impact is spotless and seriously ladylike. The hotness of Eternity is that it’s more than a crisply cleaned aroma, however that is the early introduction; it’s a rich and insistent flower that leaves the sniffer needing to know more… about it, and about you.
Enormous thumbs up!
